Followers Tracker for Instagram — Unfollowers & Bulk Unfollow is a browser extension by Vladyslav Verbytskyi (trading as Verblike) that lets you see who unfollowed you and who doesn't follow you back, export those lists, and unfollow accounts one by one or in bulk. It works on Instagram. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses and where that data goes.
The short version
The extension runs entirely inside your own browser, in your existing logged-in session. It does not collect your content, require a separate account, or send what you view to us or any third party.
Data the extension accesses
- Public profile details of the account you look up — user id, username, display name, verified and private status, profile picture, and follower/following counts — used to build the lists you see.
- The followers and following lists themselves, read from Instagram in your own session and kept on your device so the extension can compare scans.
- A follower history built from your own scans (who was gained or lost, and when, capped at 5,000 entries per account). Instagram publishes no such history; the extension derives it locally and it never leaves your device.
- Your settings, looked-up accounts, shielded accounts, and scan cache. Uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes all of it.
Permissions and why they are needed
cookies— Reads your existing Instagram csrftoken and ds_user_id cookies so requests to Instagram are made as you, and so your own account can be detected automatically. The cookies are only read — never modified, and never sent to us.storage— Stores your preferences, the accounts you have looked up, shielded accounts, a 24-hour scan cache, and the follower history used to work out who unfollowed you. All of it stays in your browser.
Network access
https://www.instagram.com/*— Calls Instagram's own endpoints, in your session, to read the followers/following lists and to send the unfollow requests you confirm.https://i.instagram.com/*— Instagram's API host, used to resolve a username to its profile and to page through large lists.https://*.cdninstagram.com/*— Fetches profile-picture images from Instagram's CDN to display avatars in the extension.https://*.fbcdn.net/*— Also serves profile-picture images — Instagram (Meta) uses the fbcdn.net CDN for many images.
Good to know
- There is no account, no login, no server, and no analytics. The extension has no backend of any kind — nothing it reads is ever transmitted to us or to a third party.
- CSV and Excel exports are generated in your browser and saved straight to your computer.
- Read-only lists work for your own account and for any profile whose lists you can already see. Unfollowing only ever works on the account you are signed in as.
- Follower tracking starts at your first scan and can only see changes between your own scans, so an unfollow and refollow in between is invisible.
- Independent tool, not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. Unfollowing too quickly can get an account action-blocked, so the extension paces itself and backs off when Instagram rate-limits it.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share the content you access through the extension with anyone.
