Insta Sorter — Sort Feed on Instagram is a browser extension by Vladyslav Verbytskyi (trading as Verblike) that lets you sort Instagram posts, Reels, hashtags, and search results by engagement metrics and export the results. It works on Instagram. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses and where that data goes.
The short version
The extension runs entirely inside your own browser, in your existing logged-in session. It does not collect your content, require a separate account, or send what you view to us or any third party.
Data the extension accesses
- Instagram post metadata available to the page you are viewing, including post URLs, usernames, captions, timestamps, media type, and engagement figures such as likes, comments, reposts, views, and play counts. This data is processed in memory to sort, filter, display, and export results, and is discarded when the Instagram tab is closed or reloaded.
- Your sorting preferences, engagement-rate weights, stats-overlay setting, export count, review-link status, and promotion dismissal state. These values are stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device.

Network access
https://www.instagram.com/*— Reads post metadata and engagement figures from Instagram responses in the page you are viewing. It may request missing post details from Instagram's own media-info endpoint.
Good to know
- The extension has no backend server, analytics, advertising tracker, account system, licensing system, or payment system.
- Exports are generated locally and saved to your device or copied to your clipboard. Instagram content and browsing activity are never sent to us or sold.
- Links to the Chrome Web Store and to other Verblike extensions open only when you choose them; no data is sent when a recommendation card is displayed.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share the content you access through the extension with anyone.
